Recently, I traveled to Phoenix for the second annual Sassy Con. Sassy Con is a direct sellers social media conference ran by *the socialite suite*.
I stayed at the Doubletree in Gilbert, Arizona right outside Phoenix. It was a decent hotel, the conference center was great though. The rooms were large, the restaurant was efficient, and it was clean.
The location was very good and was close to the SanTan Village which included shops, restaurants, and more. We dined there several times- but no time for shopping (insert my sad face here).
Thirsty Lion was my favorite restaurant that we ate at. I loved the spinach artichoke dip! It was fantastically yummy.
The weather was incredibly hot but no humidity which makes this Florida girl so happy!
I was able to hear from several of Sassy Suites partners including Driskotech, which is what inspired me to take her video editing course.
I met so many wonderful friends and ladies that have lived in my computer for months!
I have had several layovers and connections in Phoenix when I used to fly to Vegas for work. The airport is smaller but very efficient with security typically.
This is a bracelet that I hand stamped at the convention to remind me of my Word Of The Year- Rise. I love the simplicity of the design but it was so special since I was able to make it myself. Plus, I will always remember my amazing trip to Phoenix when I look at it/wear it.
I had a great trip and would love to travel back to Phoenix next year for the 3rd annual Sassy Con. I hope when I do I can make time to stay a few days before or after and explore more of Phoenix. I really enjoyed the SanTan Village area and think I would likely stay in the same area if possible.
